PETALING JAYA: No Malaysians are involved in the shooting that took the lives of 50 people in Las Vegas.
A Malaysian official, when contacted, said that from initial reports received from Las Vegas police, no Malaysians or foreigners were involved in the shooting.
The shooting is the deadliest mass shooting in the United States. As of now, over 400 victims have been injured.
“We are still coordinating with the US State Department to find out more information on the shooting,” the official added.
The shooter has been identified as 64-year old Stephen Paddock by local police.
