BUTTERWORTH: Chin Chi Sheuan was last in class, frequently played truant and almost quit school. And now, he is about to become a doctor.

Chin, 24, will begin his housemanship programme next month after passing his fourth-year examination at Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan.
