PUTRAJAYA: The 2017 Merdeka Day celebration on Aug 31 will see a re-enactment of the independence declaration.
Multimedia and Communication Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak said the celebration's venue, Dataran Merdeka, would be designed to look like Stadium Merdeka, where the original declaration occurred.
