Axed city councillor: No word from MACC


GEORGE TOWN: A former Penang island city councillor said she has not been contacted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) following her sacking from the post on April 19.

Noor Syazwani Md Amin, 30, also said she would let her lawyer handle the matter when asked to comment on a statement issued by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) that it had referred the complaints received against her to the MACC.
