Police bust ah long syndicate with 1,500 victims

KUALA LUMPUR: Police dealt a crippling blow to a money-lending syndicate after its leader and several high-ranking members were arrested.

A total of 31 members, aged between 23 and 40, were arrested in raids in Selangor, Johor, Penang, Kedah, Malacca and Negri Sembilan from January to March.
