Court of Appeal upholds acquittal of four cops over lock-up death

KUALA LUMPUR: The Court of Appeal has upheld the acquittal of four policemen who were charged with causing the death of N. Dharmendran while in police custody.

Court of Appeal judge Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat - who chaired a three-man panel - said they have no reason to interfere with the findings of the High Court judge who acquitted and discharged the four respondents at the end of the defence case.
