SHAH ALAM: A Bangladeshi and an Indonesian pleaded guilty at a Sessions Court here with attempting to bribe policemen.
Bangladeshi Akin Ali, 37, was accused of offering RM320 to Kpl Mohd Sufandi Ibrahim as an inducement not to search him.
Kpl Mohd Sufandi, who is from the South Klang district police headquarters patrol unit, had stopped Akil in Bandar Botanic, Klang, on March 26 after noticing him behaving suspiciously.
In the same court, Indonesian Wan Ahmad, 40, was also charged with offering RM50 to Konst Mohd Haqqimi Daud from the Kajang district police headquarters.
Wan Ahmad had offered the money as an inducement for Konst Mohd Haqqimi to not take action against him for driving without a valid driving licence in Kajang on March 24.
Both men pleaded guilty to the charges.
