Four slapped with drug charges

KAMPAR: Three brothers and their cousin were jointly charged at the magistrate’s court here with trafficking in over 14kg of methamphetamine at a former tin mining site in Jeram.

The court was told that Kalitazan @ Nur Azan Abdullah, 44, B. Kalidass, 41, R. Elanggo, 30, and R. R. Viknesswara, 28, allegedly trafficked in the 14.59kg of drugs at an abandoned shed at the former tin mine, near Gua Tempurung, at 2pm on March 13.
