A danger no more: Members of government agencies posing with the crocodile measuring about 4.3m long after it was caught at Sembilang River in Juru near Bukit Mertajam.

BUKIT MERTAJAM: A huge saltwater crocodile was caught in the mangrove swamp near the Sembilang River in Juru near here.

The capture of the 4.3m-long reptile, which weighs about 250kg, is a relief to villagers of Kampung Tanjung Batu who claimed to have spotted it 10 years ago.
