PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has rubbished a WhatsApp message claiming that temperatures in the country, Singapore and Indonesia will shoot up to 40°C for the next two weeks.
The message, which is being widely circulated, claimed that the high temperature is due to the Equinox phenomenon.
