JOHOR BARU: Within days after a distraught wife ranted about her unfaithful husband on social media, a man was arrested for allegedly having an affair with an underage girl.
He was remanded at the Seri Alam district police headquarters.
In her Facebook post yesterday, the woman said her husband was arrested following a police report lodged by the Form Three girl’s mother for raping her daughter.
She alleged that police recorded her statement but did not say what it was for.
The post claimed that the couple had been married five years and were in the process of a divorce.
In an earlier post on Feb 10, the woman claimed that she was disappointed with her husband.
She had hoped that after having a child recently, her husband would change but that never happened.
A copy of her police report about her husband’s alleged infidelity and sexual tryst during her confinement has also gone viral.
Meanwhile, the husband has also posted online alleging that his wife’s claims happened in the past and countered that his wife had an affair with a married man.
Seri Alam deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Norazam Shaari confirmed a police report had been lodged about the rape and the case was being investigated.
