ASP and six cops held in drug busts

ALOR SETAR: The seven policemen and a man who were arrested during multiple drug busts in two states were monitored by a special police team for a year.

Kedah CPO Commissioner Datuk Asri Yusoff said officers from Bukit Aman’s Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) and Narcotics Crime Investigation Department seized RM6.7mil worth of drugs, cars, jewellery and RM800,000 in cash from the rogue policemen and the male civilian on Monday and Tuesday.
