Woman falls to her death during raid at Puchong shophouse

SERDANG: A woman fell to her death while escaping a police raid at a shophouse in Jalan Bandar 12, Pusat Bandar Puchong, here.

OCPD Asst Comm Megat Mohamad Aminuddin Megat Alias said the woman was attempting to escape through the back door of her rental unit on the second floor when she fell at about 9pm Tuesday.

He said police had raided the place in search for a crime suspect.

“She landed on the first floor and died on the spot," ACP Megat Mohamad Aminuddin said Wednesday.

Post-mortem results revealed that she died from a broken neck, he said, adding that the woman was an Indian national in her 30s, and was renting the unit with a man in his 40s.

“We advise the public not to speculate on the case," he said.
