Selangor govt rewards paralympian Ziyad with house, cash

SHAH ALAM: Paralympian Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli received RM150,000 and a house worth RM400,000 from the Selangor government as a reward for bringing glory to the state's name.

Ziyad, who won the gold medal with a new world record in the men's shot putt F20 (intellectual disability) final at the Rio Paralympics in Brazil in September, said he would gift the house to his parents.
