Government looking to boost international tourist arrivals


EFFORTS will be focused on increasing tourist arrivals from China, South Korea, Australia, Asean countries and various places in India as a way of boosting visitor numbers.

In a written reply to Jeff Ooi (DAP -Jelutong), Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz said the Government was aiming to attract 31.8 million tourists next year and 33.1 million in 2018.
