PETALING JAYA: A family of five will have to fork out about RM100 extra for cooking oil per year following the rationalisation move by the government, the Dewan Rakyat was told.
In comparison, the price of mineral water exceeds that of cooking oil depending on how much one drinks, said Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
