Better benefits for contract-based civil servants under revised scheme

SEREMBAN: The Government has agreed to enhance benefits for civil servants hired on a contract basis, including granting male employees paternity leave.

Under the revised scheme, those hired on a contract basis will also be entitled to apply for unrecorded leave to attend the funeral of immediate family members.
