Crane driver in fatal accident fled the scene

KUALA LUMPUR: The driver who was operating the crane which broke apart and killed a 23-year-old woman, ran away shortly after the incident in the city centre.

The Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) said it was working with the police to track down the runaway driver, as the Thursday evening accident could have been a result of a series of poor safety regulations.
