Three killed after car plunges into drain in Puchong

PETALING JAYA: A car crashed into a divider and plunged into a monsoon drain, killing all three of its occupants, along Jalan PU3 in Puchong on Sunday.

The two women and a man, whose identities are withheld, were believed to have died on the spot following the accident in Taman Puchong Utama.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Mohd Sani Harul said they were alerted of the incident at 10.06am.

"The operation to remove the bodies from the vehicle is ongoing.

"They were pronounced dead by a medical team from the Serdang Hospital," Mohd Sani said.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle which slammed into the divider before plunging into the drain.
