Salesgirl falls to her death at KL shopping complex


KUALA LUMPUR: A salesgirl fell to her death from the fourth floor of a shopping complex in Jalan Imbi, Bukit Bintang, here Thursday.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainol Samah said the 26-year-old woman was found sprawled in a pool of blood in front of the shopping complex at about 2pm.

He said an ambulance from the Malaysian Red Crescent Society arrived at the scene 10 minutes later.

“A paramedic pronounced her dead at the scene.

“A family member said she had been suffering from a mental disorder since she was three years old.

“She had been receiving treatment at Hospital Ampang,” ACP Zainol said.

The case has been classified as sudden death.
