July fuel prices: 5 sen increase across the board

PETALING JAYA: There will be a 5 sen increase in fuel prices across the board for the month of July.

This means RON95 petrol will be priced at RM1.75 per litre (from RM1.70 previously) while RON97 will retail at RM2.10 (from RM2.05)

Diesel will be priced at RM1.60 per litre (from RM1.55).

Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak confirmed the 5 sen increase when contacted.

This marks the first increase in pump prices since April.

The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry decided to set the prices of petrol and diesel on a managed float system from Dec 1 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
