Gerakan: Voters prefer proven Barisan, reject PAS’ hudud


PETALING JAYA: The results of the Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar by-elections show that the Chinese votes have swung back to Barisan Nasional, says Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong.

Referring to several polling stations that had captured more than 40% of the Chinese votes, he said the by-elections also served as a referendum against PAS’ hudud agenda and against the rhetoric of Pakatan Harapan.
