Temporary suspension of LRT Ampang, Sri Petaling lines

KUALA LUMPUR: The Rapid KL Light Rail Transit (LRT) service on the Ampang and Sri Petaling lines is to be suspended temporarily on July 7, 8 and 16 to allow for the upgrading and migration of the train signalling system.

Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin said July 7 and 8 were the second and third days of Aidilfitri and July 16 was a Saturday, and there was expected to be minimal inconvenience to commuters.

On these days, free shuttle bus services would be provided between 6am and midnight to ferry commuters along the stations of the Ampang and Sri Petaling LRT lines to the Rapid KL Pasar Seni bus hub, he said in a statement. - Bernama
