KUALA KANGSAR: Amanah has defended its Perak deputy chairman Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin over remarks that the Kuala Kangsar by-election was ‘divine retribution’ for Barisan Nasional’s role in taking over Perak from the Opposition in 2009.
The party’s candidate for the by-election, Dr Ahmad Termizi Ramli, said he had known Nizar for a long time, adding that “it is not his attitude”.
