KUALA TERENGGANU: A viral WhatsApp message instructing teachers in the state to carry out five minutes of hand-clapping "training" daily is apparently a joke which has been blown out of proportion.

The message, said to be sent by state Education Department director Shafruddin Ali Hussin on Tuesday, "requested" that videos of the "training sessions" be sent back to him.
