GEORGE TOWN: A former businessman and a pharmacist escaped the gallows after a High Court here freed them of trafficking in more than 3kg of methamphetamine.
Judicial Commissioner Wong Teck Meng said both Ch’ng Kim Lye, 56, and Chan Kong Chuan, 63, had succeeded in raising a reasonable doubt in the prosecution’s case.
