KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), local councils and the police must work more closely together in the fight against cyber crimes, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The Home Minister said cyber sexual grooming, in which social media users lure children into sexual acts online, need to be dealt with using not just the Police Act or Criminal Procedure Code but also the Communications and Multimedia Act.
