PETALING JAYA: Sarawakian Kho Jabing, who was scheduled to be hanged in Singapore on Friday, was granted a stay of execution late Thursday night.
Lawyer Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss filed an originating summons earlier, challenging the constitutionality of certain aspects of the amendments to the mandatory death penalty in Singapore.
