A NEWSPAPER vendor in Taman Bukit Maluri, Kuala Lumpur, was shocked to be handed a RM1,000 compound by City Hall over her street stall, which she claimed to have operated for 30 years, reported Tamil Nesan.
The woman, identified only as Sinthamani, said she took over the stall from her father a few years ago and that it did not inconvenience anyone or obstruct traffic.
