Health woes keep Rayani Air boss away from inquiry

PETALING JAYA: Rayani Air chief executive officer Ravi Alagendrran (pic), who is under tremendous pressure after the suspension of its operations, was unable to attend the Department of Civil Aviation inquiry due to health problems.

Ravi, who runs the service, tagged the world’s first syariah-compliant airline, said he fainted because of high blood pressure.
