PETALING JAYA: Residents of a condominium block had to be evacuated after word got out of the discovery of explosives in one of the units in Damansara Perdana on Sunday.
All residents of the block were asked to leave their homes and police are currently assessing the situation.
Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene at about 8.30am to assist in the investigations.
Residents said a police raid in the early morning led to the discovery of explosives in the apartment.
Police said they received a call over a possible bomb threat and a bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the scene.
It is learnt that three explosives were found in one of the condo's units.
