JOHOR BARU: A lawyer pleaded not guilty at a Sessions Court here to two charges of accepting almost RM18,000 from two defendants in a civil suit in which he was acting for the plantiff.
Ibrahim Haikal Razak, 32, who was supposed to represent an educational company in the civil suit, was accused of accepting the money as an inducement to settle the matter.
