Flag-raising kicks off Sultan’s birthday

Grand start: Johor Royal Council members, together with various state leaders, at the flag-raising ceremony at Istana Besar in Johor Baru to mark the start of Sultan Ibrahim’s birthday celebration.

JOHOR BARU: The birthday celebrations of Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has begun.

It kicked off with the hoisting of the state’s ceremonial flag at Istana Besar yesterday morning.
