Guan Eng in heated exchange with councillor


GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (pic) has offered a Penang Island City councillor the power to solve the island’s parking woes and roadside hawker issues but the councillor instead asked to be made the mayor.

In the heated exchange during a dialogue between the chief minister and Dr Lim Mah Hui, Guan Eng offered the latter the authority to remove hawkers and cars parked by the roadside.
