Car bursts into flames on Kesas Highway


PETALING JAYA: A Perodua Kenari caught fire on KM35.9 of the Kesas Highway, bringing traffic to a standstill from Kewajipan to Kota Kemuning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Mohd Sani Harul said a report was received at around 7.45pm Monday.

"Nine firefighters from the Subang Fire and Rescue department arrived at the scene 15 minutes later.

"The Kenari was completely destroyed in the fire," he said, adding no one was injured in the incident.
