Warden rapes drunk student

A college student who passed out after drinking a spiked alcoholic beverage woke up while being raped in the suspect’s car.

She tried to resist but was slapped until she lost consciousness again.

Utusan Malaysia reported that the 17-year-old student had earlier been drinking with two other female friends at a pub in Kuching at about 3.30am on Tuesday.

The suspect, who had sat near their table with his friend, asked the college student to swap glasses with him. She agreed despite not knowing him.

Acting Kuching district police chief Supt Ernest John said the student claimed that she fell unconscious after drinking from the glass.

“A college hostel warden has surrendered and made a police report. He said the girl was drunk and semi-conscious but he admitted to having sex with her with her consent after bringing her to his car to rest,” he said.

Supt Ernest said two men later came looking for the girl and tried to attack the suspect but he managed to flee.

The trio had earlier broken into the mall through an entrance of a food outlet at around 4am on Tuesday.

Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Din Ahmad said the police were now studying the video footage of the mall. “The suspects’ faces were covered with black cloth.”

AG had quipped: “Nanti pilot marah. (The pilot will get angry).”
