Anti-TPP rally to proceed as planned, say organisers

KUALA LUMPUR: Organisers of a planned protest against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement will proceed with Saturday's rally even if they are not allowed to gather at Dataran Merdeka.

Bantah TPP deputy chairman Azlan Awang, who is part of the organising committee, said organisers would make sure that the rally is held legally and in compliance with guidelines issued by the authorities.
