Malacca wants its residents to be 'busybodies' to counter terror threat


MALACCA: The state is asking village headmen and residential associations committee members to be "busybodies" and keep an eye on suspicious neighbours in the wake of escalating terror attacks and threats in the region.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron (pic) said his officials had alerted village security and welfare committees and residential associations to look out for suspicious individuals renting houses or moving into their respective housing areas.
