Filipina denies trafficking girl

JOHOR BARU: A Filipina has pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here to trafficking in an underaged girl for the purpose of exploiting her as forced labour.

Yesterday, Estrellita Tabanao Padilla, 54, claimed trial to having forced the then 13-year-old girl, who is from Sabah, into working here between Jan 15, 2011 and May 17, 2013.
