‘Crying kitten’ turns out to be a baby

Safe and sound: The newborn baby boy found in Bandar Baru Bangi has been sent to the Kajang Hospital.

KAJANG: What some Bandar Baru Bangi residents thought were the cries of a helpless kitten in a drain turned out to be that of an abandoned newborn baby boy.

Section 7 residents returning from Saturday evening prayers were shocked to find the boy, covered in his own faeces and wrapped in a grey shirt and a plastic bag, by the drain along Jalan 7/5G here.
