KUALA TERENGGANU: The state Health Department has promised to come down hard on owners of houses and private lands which are found to be dengue hotspots.
A maximum compound of RM500 would be imposed on them for failing to maintain their properties and letting them become breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes, said its director Dr Mohammad Omar.
