Sirul Azhar still waiting for Australian protection visa, says lawyer


KUALA LUMPUR: The accused in the Altantuya murder case, Sirul Azhar Umar (pic), who is being detained by Australian Immigration, is still waiting for approval for a protection visa.

Lawyer Datuk Kamarul Hisham Kamaruddin said Sirul Azhar had applied for the visa earlier this year and had an interview with the Australian Immigration on Nov 25.
