PUTRAJAYA: Practice makes perfect. This adage holds true for surviving calamities, according to the National Disaster Manage­ment Agency.

Its director-general Datuk Zaitun Ab Samad said it had taken over the task from the National Security Council (NSC) as the main coordinating agency during and in the aftermath of disasters.
