Body found at edge of Puchong quarry


PETALING JAYA: The body of a man was found sprawled by the edge of an abandoned quarry along Jalan Metro, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Puchong.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Razimi Ahmad said police received a call from a member of the public at about 3pm Tuesday, alerting them of the body.

“The body was bloated and sprawled on the edge of the quarry. A motorcycle was parked nearby.

“We found a brown wallet containing bank cards and an identity card,” he added.

ACP Razimi said the body of the 39-year-old man, identified as Mohd Radzuan bin Ghazali, was sent to Serdang Hospital for post-mortem.

“There were no signs of injury on his body,” he noted.

The case has been classified as Sudden Death (SDR).

Anyone whose family members have gone missing are urged to contact the Puchong Jaya police station or Investigating Officer Sgt Mohd Shah at 012-2387377.
