Sweet gesture with ‘sweet’ tree

Shining bright: The Christmas charity tree that is placed in the lobby of Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur. There are 15,080 pieces of colourful macarons that make up the tree.

KUALA LUMPUR: A Christmas tree filled with macarons lights up to the delight of both children and adults who were at a hotel here to witness it.

Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur recently launched its Christmas Charity Tree 2015 by lighting it up – signifying the start of this year’s Christmas charity campaign.
