Palanivel and four others file to stay High Court ruling


KUALA LUMPUR: MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel and four other senior party members have applied to stay the High Court dismissal of their applications for a judicial review against the Registrar of Societies (RoS) over its directive to the party to hold fresh elections.

Senior Federal Counsel Amarjeet Singh told reporters after meeting High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Asmabi Mohamad in chambers that the stay was filed on June 19.
