Milan: Malaysia has called on Asia and Europe to stand together to remove barriers and strengthen inter-regional trade so that both can enjoy better economic and financial security.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who was here for the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (Asem), said it was vital to implement measures that improve multilateral trade, noting that Asia-Europe trade was expected to exceed US$1.8 trillion (RM5.87 trillion) this year.
