PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund has approved a total of 8,410 cases for death benefits totalling RM21mil this year, says Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong.
He said it had come to his attention that there were contributors who were not aware that the EPF, aside from safeguarding retirement funds, also had other benefits for contributors and their families.
