Firdaus’ dream to be a dad cut short


Sad day: Sultan Dr Nazrin Shah and Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Zara Salim were among a host of people who gathered at Padang Speedy to pay their last respects to Muhammad Firdaus.

TELUK INTAN: Malaysia Airlines First Officer Muhammad Firdaus Abdul Rahim had just started a family and was looking forward to becoming a father.

But the dreams of the 27-year-old officer would not be realised as he was among the victims of the MH17 tragedy.
