KUALA LUMPUR: The planned Gaza humanitarian mission aims to deliver 40 tonnes of medicine and food along with medical care, Umno welfare bureau chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abd Rahim said.
“We are also looking at turning our aid into a long-term mission, so while we are giving aid during our time there, we will also be studying the situation on the ground,” said Abdul Azeez, who added that medical care was expected to be provided by a team of 30 to 40 specialists.
